17 year old Cessnock reinsman, Blake Hughes brought up 100 winning drives for the season last night at Newcastle Paceway courtesy of a double aboard SOHO SINATRA for Clayton Harmey and MAMMALS RIDDLE for Joseph Rees. This puts Blake narrowly ahead of Tom Ison in the tightly contested concession drivers premiership.
SOHO SINATRA, on debut for the Harmey stable was the first win of a double for the Nulkaba trainer, his second was GOLD REACTOR with Leigh Sutton in the gig bringing up $100,000 lifetime stakes.
Morisset trainer Mark Callaghan picked up a quinella in Race 4 with HIGHLINE & GLENN FORD, and owner/trainer/driver Glenn Bull picked up a win in Race 6 with CANT EXPLAIN IT.
